Questions for the Director of Schools

We are excited to announce that the keynote speakers for this year's Regional Special Needs Expo are-- drumroll please-- Dr. Scott Langford, Director of Schools, and Julie Daniel, Director of Pupil Services. We are pleased to announce that they will be speaking about "Supporting Student & Families in Special Education."

The Expo will be held on August 16, 2025, from 10am to 3pm at First Baptist Church Hendersonville in Wilson Hall. There will be 30+ vendors there speaking about how they serve the disability, as well as various workshops and seminars, a fashion show, food, and more! There will be something for each age group, preschool through adults. To learn more about the Expo, click here.

We thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of questions that families or students have about special education. This will give the Directors the opportunity to address some of those questions.

We want to hear from you! What questions would you like them to answer? Post your ideas below by August 10th and we will compile the list for them.
