CHEERVILLE GALLATIN
Cheerville now offers the Cheerabilities program. The “Super Villians” cheer team is geared towards athletes with special needs. They practice once a week for one hour. There is no monthly tuition or competition fees. Athletes are required to purchase a uniform (new or used) for their performances.

MIRACLE LEAGUE OF GALLATIN
The Miracle League of Gallatin offers softball to players age 4-99 with disabilities. Players will be paired with a buddy. Games are on Saturdays at Miracle Park inside Triple Creek Park in Gallatin.

MOVE INCLUSIVE DANCE
Move Inclusive Dance is an inclusive dance studio that empowers individuals of all ability levels to learn life skills through dance. It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. They have classes in Nashville and Franklin TN and also offer virtual class attendance as well as an online library of videos to follow along with.

SOUTHERN GRIT PT & WELLNESS
Southern Grit specializes in rehabbing and promoting functional fitness for both older adults and adaptive athletes. From Medicare covered physical therapy to personal training to group fitness classes, they have something for everyone who wants to get strong to ensure they can still pick up their grandkids, go on that trip, or even maintain independence in their home. All classes or sessions are done by a medical professional (PT, PTA, or EMT) to give you peace of mind especially if you have any medical needs.

SPECIAL NEEDS SPORTS FOUNDATION
The Special Needs Sports Foundation provides recreational and social activities in Sumner County and surrounding. They partner with Hendersonville Parks and Recreation for the Raptors league. The Raptors league offers basketball, baseball, or kickball.
SNSF also partners with Hendersonville Strike and Spare for a 10-week special needs bowling league in the Fall & Spring. A child's non-disabled buddy can play as well, though space is limited for the buddies. Contact Gay Neal at gay.neal@att.net for more information.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS
Special Olympics Tennessee (SOTN) offers sports training and competition in 17 Olympic style sports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Individuals eight years old and up can compete in local and state competitions. The Young Athletes program is available for children with and without intellectual disabilities, ages 2-7.

SPLASHABILITIES TN
Madeline of SplashAbilities has experience with pediatric speech therapy and almost 20 years of teaching swimming lessons. Thirty-minute lessons cost $25. Lessons are for ages 6 months through adult and are held at the Gallatin Civic Center.

TUSC STARS SOCCER
TUSC Stars is an inclusive soccer program that is available to individuals age 5 and up (including adults) with physical or developmental disabilities. The program is free for the 8 sessions. Each participant is assigned a buddy that is the same age or older. Sessions are held at Merroll Hyde Magnet School in Hendersonville.

VALIANT INDIVIDUALIZED TRAINING
Valiant provides all inclusive fitness training for all abilities. They offer 30 or 50 minute training sessions and are mobile. Sessions are held in Brentwood or can be held in a home, at a park, or in a facility. They also have a seasonal social hiking program for the neurodivergent community.

YMCA FULL CIRCLE PROGRAM
​The YMCA Full Circle Program is just getting started at the Sumner County YMCA. Spring 2025 classes include a dance class and a fitness class. These classes are for adults, including adults, with intellectual or developmental disabilities. All activities are free for YMCA members.
