DR MADELINE ELLIS

Dr. Ellis is a board-certified Pediatrician who specializes in ADHD and emotional health. She can diagnose and provide medication management of ADHD as well as anxiety and depression.  They treat children ages 6 through 18.  They are a self-pay clinic that can use FSA or HSA plans but not submit insurance claims, though they can provide a superbill.

ELEVATE ENRICHMENT CENTER

Elevate Enrichment Center provides dyslexia reading therapy for individuals from 2nd grade to adult.  Private or group tutoring services from Kindergarten through High School.

EXPRESSWAYS TO LEARNING

Expressways to learning can assist students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities and attention-deficit disorders from age 5 to adult.  Their programs can assist with reading, math, and ACT/SAT prep.  ETL also provides diagnostic testing for Irlen Spectral Filters, which help people with brain injury, concussion, migraines, or PTSD.  They have several locations, including one in Sumner County within The Babb Center.

HOOVER LEARNING GROUP

Hoover Learning Group specializes in Orton-Gillingham-based dyslexia therapy for children with suspected reading disabilities.  They can screen for dyslexia and other learning challenges in both children and adults. They can also train teachers in working with students with dyslexia.

LEARNING SOLUTIONS

Learning Solutions provides dyslexia therapy both virtual and in-person with an Orton Gillingham approach.  They also offer dyslexia screening as well as comprehensive dyslexia evaluations, K-1 teacher training, educational coaching, and graduate level training to become a therapist.

NASHVILLE NEUROPSYCHOLOGY & FAMILY SERVICES

Nashville Neuropsychology & Family Services provides neuropsychological, psychoeducational, and neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adolescents with cognitive and behavioral challenges related to learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia), ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Their team also provides individual and family therapy and medication management services. They have offices in Nashville and Lebanon. Insurance is accepted for neuropsychological evaluations with documented medical necessity only.

TALK TO ME SPEECH THERAPY

Talk to Me Speech Therapy offers speech and language therapy, feeding therapy, occupational therapy, social and pragmatic interventions, dyslexia interventions, and AAC Device Training.  They do in-office or teletherapy appointments.  They take many insurances, including TennCare and Katie Beckett payments.

TUTOR DOCTOR

Tutor Doctor offers one-on-one tutoring services both online and in-home with free consultations.  They have a dedicated special needs tutoring program in which tutors are trained to understand the needs of students with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and more.  Tutors can also help students find resources and develop self-advocacy skills.
