NASHVILLE NEUROPSYCHOLOGY & FAMILY SERVICES
Nashville Neuropsychology & Family Services provides neuropsychological, psychoeducational, and neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adolescents with cognitive and behavioral challenges related to learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia), ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Their team also provides individual and family therapy and medication management services. They have offices in Nashville and Lebanon. Insurance is accepted for neuropsychological evaluations with documented medical necessity only.

NURTURE THE NEXT
Nurture The Next has programs related to children from birth to age 5. They provide in-home support for parents as well as training and education. Sumner County Programs include: Parent Mentorship, Parent Leadership Initiative, and Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention. They have resources for parents and people who work with families.

TENNESSEE DISABILITY COALITION
The TN Disability Coalition is an advocacy group that promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of life. Their programs include Family Voices and WorkAble TN.
Family Voices of TN
Family Voices offers 4 different programs:
​Family to Family- Support, information, resources and training to parents of children with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and special health care needs.
PEARS- Connects families of children who are D/deaf, Hard of Hearing, or have hearing issues with Parent Guides.
Parent to Parent- connects families of children with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and special health care needs with Parent Mentors.
Youth to Youth- connects youth with Peer Mentors and also offers self-advocacy bootcamps.

​Workable TN
WorkAble TN serves adults with disabilities. They offer one-on-one benefits counseling, providing information about how working may impact benefits.

TN STEP
TNSTEP is Tennesee’s Parent Training and Information Center. They have a wealth of information available on their website such as transition guides, an eligibility guide, and videos for both families and professionals. They can also provide support to families.

TN VOICES
TN Voices has many different programs and serves individuals of all ages. They provide mental health services, parent/caregiver support classes, and educator training. Their Statewide Family Support Network (SFSN) works with caregivers to help them understand their child’s IDEA and 504 rights.

TRANSITION TN
Transition TN offers free training and resources for educators and Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS). They are Tennessee’s online home for training and resources to prepare students with disabilities for life after high school.

VANDERBILT TRIAD
TRIAD is the Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders. They provide information and training for families, educators, and service providers of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Families First Program is a free program for caregivers of young children (ages 2-7) newly diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

VOLUNTEER ADVOCACY PROJECT (VAP)
The Volunteer Advocacy Project is a program through the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center with the purpose of training individuals to become special education advocates. Participants attend 12 3-hour sessions over the course of August-November then are linked with 4 families of children with disabilities. In recent years, the training sessions have been on Tuesday evenings and have been available via zoom. Participants fill out an application and the cost is $25, with some need-based scholarship finds available.
