Athena’s clinic in Hendersonville can provide therapy, testing for ADHD, developmental or achievement testing to diagnose Intellectual Disability, Giftedness, or Developmental disorders such as Autism. psychiatry, and counseling. Some of the testing is done at other Athena locations. Athena is in-network with most major insurance plans but cannot accept TennCare.

FAIR WINDS WAY

The providers at Fair Winds Way can evaluate and diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder.  They offer individual therapy, play therapy, and group therapy for young children through adults.  Groups offered in the past include social skills groups, sibling support groups, and young women’s social and life skills groups.  They can also do in-school visits.  They are in network with several different insurance companies.

THE LIMITLESS SOCIAL CLUB

REHAB WITHOUT WALLS

Rehab Without Walls offers neuro rehabilitation for neurological conditions.  Services include occupational therapy, vocational rehab, physical therapy, speech/language therapy, and recreational therapy. THE SELF CARE SPOT

Rayne Satterfield, LCSW, provides individual and group counseling specializing in clients who are neurodivergent.  The Late Diagnosed Autism Support Group participants will learn about Autism, gain support, discuss challenges and successes, and learn skills to help manage life in a Neurotypical world. This group meets every other Wednesday from 12-1pm and costs $50 per session. Rayne also conducts assessments for adults for ADHD and Autism.

TN VOICES

TN Voices offers a wide-range of mental health and family support services at no cost. They help parents and caregivers navigate complicated systems within the school, court, and mental health systems. They also provide care coordination and resource connection for the whole family. They also support educators and caregivers with trainings, consultation services, and technical assistance. Many families reach out to them for education advocacy. They also offer parenting and prevention classes. Their services can be accessed virtually or in-person, depending on the program.

Additionally, they offer individual and family counseling, case management services, psychiatric, and medication management services virtually statewide and in-person at our Goodlettsville office. They serve ages 3+. They take TennCare, some commercial insurances, and have a sliding scale fee depending on financial or situational hardship. For those who are uninsured or underinsured, they offer the Behavioral Safety Net Grant to access our services at no cost.
