Lorraine Looney y su esposo viven en Gallatin y tienen tres hijos, entre ellos un niño encantador que es neurodivergente y ha tenido necesidades médicas complejas.

Lorraine fundó la organización Sumner County Special Needs Collaborative en 2020 tras percatarse de la necesidad de una organización que proporcionara información, apoyo y defensa a nivel local. Lorraine es trabajadora social clínica licenciada y ejerce como psicoterapeuta.

Ali Ford and her husband live in Hendersonville. Ali has two awesomely autistic boys ages 4 and 7. 

 

Ali taught special education in Metro Nashville schools for 7 years, and she is currently pursuing her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Leah & her husband live in Sumner Co. Leah is an Educational Consultant and serves as Secretary on our board. Leah received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

 

Her previous work history has focused on serving individuals with Severe Mental Health, Intellectual, and Developmental disabilities. She has worked with Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) to ensure that adults and youth with disabilities receive Supported Employment Services. Through working with VR, she has focused on transition-age youth and provided services in the classroom and individual settings.

Originally from Nashville, Rose & her husband and family now live in Hendersonville. She has 2 daughters and a grandson, who has severe autism.

 

Rose joined our board with a strong passion to help our special needs Sumner County community. She is responsible for our website development and communications.
